String Theory, a newly formed metro-east cover band is seeking a female for background vocals and a few leads to complete the band line up. We're looking to cover 80's through the newer stuff. Must be dedicated, ego free, and have a great stage presence. Current band members are 40 -55, rehearse once a week, looking to gig 2-3x month by Jan.

Female Christian/Gospel/Indie Soul vocalist is seeking a songwriting partner. Skill as a musician is very helpful as I hope to start a band. But willing to work with you if you take notice of artists/sounds of Fred Hammond, Maxwell, God’s Chosen, John Mayer, India.Arie, Erykah Badu, etc. (soul/R&B, rock, acoustic). I want to implement a very blended sound, yet be spiritually relevant and true, and fun. Only very serious inquiries need apply.

Established 4-piece band looking to re-establish female vocalist part. Group consists of veteran players from around the St. Louis area, most with college level music training and all are lead vocalists. Instrumentation includes Guitar, Keys, Drums and Bass with doubles on Sax, Trombone and Flute. Music selection includes Motown, 70's & 80's Dance favorites. Great PA & Lighting Gear, Rehearsal space in South County and Digital 16-track in-house recording. A demo CD is "in-the-can" with open track(s) available to plug in a new vocal track, if familiar with the particular material. Auditions at band-jobs preferred, but can be arranged for a rehearsal night. Shared responsibility for running the group available, but not expected. All income is claimed and even cuts are the norm.

Local cover band focusing on new country songs (Sugarland, Paisley, TK, etc) is still looking for a good fit for a drummer. We've had a number of tryouts but haven't been successful in finding what we are looking for. We practice once a week and are only looking to play 2-3 times per month. Currently we have female acoustic and lead vocals, keys, guitar, bass, pedal steel. I have been surrounded by music for 30 years (since elementary school)
I have a long history of performing in quartets, backup, groups.
I have abilities for soloist but have been out of that loop for quite awhile.
Took back seat to husband who has been in working bands for 20+ years.
I am interested in getting back to stage. Would be interested in speaking to anyone who thinks i would be a decent match.
