Candicci's Bar in Ballwin - - 100 Holloway (at Manchester Rd) is looking for bands/singers who are available for a GOOD paying regular gig. Candicci's features live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday nights.
We had an open audition last night that went well - several booked dates. We are still looking for regular weekly acts and some additional dates. To be considered come up to the BAR area on Monday anytime from 8:00pm till 10pm. If you are a singer there will be karaoke, please feel free to perform a song so that the owner can hear your voice. Or you can sign Accapella if you are anti karaoke. Please note, we are not seeking country - any other music type is great. However, please limit the amount of equipment you bring with you....to no more than two guitars --- you can plug into the amp and do a song or two. If you have questions please contact Candice 314-249-4890 Will only consider people who come in person on Monday night (NOVEMBER 2nd), thanks. Please no calls with I can not make it, will I still be considered - the answer is no. The owner wants to hear voice and see you. Thanks and see you on Monday! • Location: Ballwin, MO

Candicci's Bar in Ballwin - - 100 Holloway (at Manchester Rd) is looking for bands/singers who are available for a GOOD paying regular gig. Candicci's features live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday nights.
We had an open audition Monday night that went well - several (Four People) booked dates. We are still looking for regular weekly acts and some additional dates. To be considered come up to the BAR area on Monday anytime from 8:00pm till 10pm. If you are a singer there will be karaoke, please feel free to perform a song so that the owner can hear your voice. Or you can sing Accapella if you are anti karaoke. (Whatever you want to do) Please note, we are not seeking country - any other music type is great. We are a restaurant in West County, not high end....but a nice restaurant. We do have a dance crowd especially on Wednesday nights. However, please limit the amount of equipment you bring with you....to no more than two guitars --- you can plug into the amp and do a song or two. I had some people that did not get booked last week that were good, but were not the best fit for our establishment. Believe me I love all music from Steve Ewing (The Urge) to The Upright Animals, Science Hill, Nite Owl, Forty till Five and so many more - but most of the bands I know would not be a great fit either (and that pains me). So for the people that were not booked last week - I am sorry. The ones that were though were a good fit and we welcome you. This coming up Monday is the LAST Monday that we will be doing open auditions. If you came up before and would like to sing again, please feel free. It is possible that the owner did not hear you OR you can even perform different music that you feel would fit. That is up to you and we do welcome you back. If you have questions please contact Candice 314-249-4890 Will only consider people who come in person on Monday night (NOVEMBER 2nd), thanks. Please no calls with I can not make it, will I still be considered - the answer is no. The owner wants to hear voice and see you. Thanks and see you on Monday! in person on Monday night, thanks. • Location: 100 Holloway Ballwin, MO 63011

Electric Bassist Seeks Existing Original, i.e., non-Cover, Band.posted: November 13, 2009, 04:18 PM

I'm interested in a wide range of ROCK genres, so whether you play one, some, or all of the following, we'll probably click: (a) melodic jangle-rock; (b) hard funk-rock; (c) hard rock; (d) doom/goth-metal; (e) singer-songwriter anything; (f) If you're really into some original stuff and passionate about it, I don't care what rock genre you play, frankly.
We'll all get along well if you're in your 20s-30s-40s, paid your dues, yet are still youthfully enthusiastic, not flabby and cynical, and also not obsessed with "image." I really need to jam with individualists with open hearts and minds; I'm so tired of people with prejudices in any department, including music. If all you need is a bassist to complete your line-up and have a good number of originals, please consider me intrigued. Self-taught, I played heavily (in 3 consecutive bands) in VA, DC, MD, NJ, NY major clubs for about 10-yrs before taking a break for school and career. With the current Great Depression II, I've been working all over the US in my profession and it's gotten old. Now in STL, I find myself in a town I don't understand, but I love it and want to stay. Do you get the scene here? I'm civilized and educated, nice-but-streetwise, geared-up, have wheels, and don't ask for loans. I'm a single guy with a pretty flexible schedule. It's about the art for me, not the money. If you're like-minded, please write. ~Thanks • Location: U City

I'm seeking two or three vocalists and songwriters between the ages of 21-30 with prior group or performance experience (previous bands, choirs, etc.) interested in forming a R&B/Hip Hop group along the lines of Blackstreet or Jodeci where there's an in-group producer with one or two strong singers to carry most of the vocal responsibility.
If you're interested, I'll send a demo of one of my recent tracks so you can have an idea of where I'd like for this project to go musically. • Location: St. Louis
