Candicci's Bar in Ballwin - - 100 Holloway (at Manchester Rd) is looking for bands/singers who are available for a GOOD paying regular gig. Candicci's features live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday nights.
We had an open audition last night that went well - several booked dates. We are still looking for regular weekly acts and some additional dates.

To be considered come up to the BAR area on Monday anytime from 8:00pm till 10pm. If you are a singer there will be karaoke, please feel free to perform a song so that the owner can hear your voice. Or you can sign Accapella if you are anti karaoke.
Please note, we are not seeking country - any other music type is great.
However, please limit the amount of equipment you bring with you....to no more than two guitars --- you can plug into the amp and do a song or two.

If you have questions please contact Candice 314-249-4890

Will only consider people who come in person on Monday night (NOVEMBER 2nd), thanks.
Please no calls with I can not make it, will I still be considered - the answer is no. The owner wants to hear voice and see you.
Thanks and see you on Monday!

However, please limit the amount of equipment you bring with you....to no more than two guitars --- you can plug into the amp and do a song or two.

I had some people that did not get booked last week that were good, but were not the best fit for our establishment. Believe me I love all music from Steve Ewing (The Urge) to The Upright Animals, Science Hill, Nite Owl, Forty till Five and so many more - but most of the bands I know would not be a great fit either (and that pains me). So for the people that were not booked last week - I am sorry. The ones that were though were a good fit and we welcome you.

This coming up Monday is the LAST Monday that we will be doing open auditions. If you came up before and would like to sing again, please feel free. It is possible that the owner did not hear you OR you can even perform different music that you feel would fit. That is up to you and we do welcome you back.

If you have questions please contact Candice 314-249-4890

KORG MicroKorg Analog Modeled Synthesizer / Vocoder

posted: October 16, 2009, 03:04 AM

State-of-the-art analog modeling and multi-band vocoding are finally available in a compact, portable instrument. With 37 keys and 128 user-rewritable programs, the microKORG Synthesizer/Vocoder is perfect for the performer, producer, computer musician, or beginner looking for an affordable synthesizer. The new microKORG delivers the quality sounds and features you expect from Korg at a price that will astound you.

Powerful Synthesis
The microKORG boasts the same dual-oscillator DSP synthesis engine found in Korg's critically acclaimed MS2000 and offers a wider selection of waveforms than any other modeled synth. Oscillator 1 features a total of 71 waveforms. These include traditional analog waves like saw, pulse, sine, and noise, plus more unique choices like Vox wave and cross wave. Together they provide a cool selection that can be modulated to produce an extensive range of timbres. In addition, 64 exclusive DWGS waveforms from Korg's classic DW-8000 enable the microKORG to reproduce a broad collection of imitative sounds. Sounds like bells, electric pianos, guitars, basses, and more that would be difficult reproduce on an analog synthesizer. You can also apply Ring and Sync modulation from Oscillator 2 to create the kind of complex timbres that are the true sign of an advanced synthesizer.

Four filter modes are available, offering -12 dB (2-pole) low pass, high pass, and band pass configurations plus an extra steep -24 dB (4-pole) low pass setting. All include resonance. Two classic ADSR envelope generators and 2 MIDI-syncable LFOs provide the power to shape your sounds. Add a Virtual Patch matrix that lets you create advanced modulation settings — routing the Mod Wheel to control filter cutoff or pulse width, using an LFO to control panning or amp level, etc. — and you have performance that is unheard of from a synthesizer in this price range!

This is Brand new factory sealed. Free delivery to the lower 48 states or pickup by
appointment Monday-Friday:
