WHAT: A 14-mile or a 37-mile round trip bike ride. Ride at your own pace! We'll have different pace groups and ride leaders.

WHEN: April 20, 2013. 9am for the 37-mile ride, 10am for the 14-mile ride

WHERE: We'll kick off this 37-mile round trip bike ride at the Mission: St. Louis offices (4366 Manchester Ave.) and ride out to the Chain of Rocks Bridge where you can take a breather at our rest stop before heading back to the Mission: St. Louis offices.

The 14 mile riders will register at the Mission: St. Louis offices, drive to the entry to the Riverfront Trail, and ride to the Chain of Rocks Bridge and back.

HOW: It's just $10 to register. We also ask for at least an additional pledge of $100 (from the rider or raised from the rider's generous friends!) AND/OR a day of service with Mission: St. Louis.

Register here.

Give pledges here.

Pledge your day of service here.

WHY: Because you want to support the people we serve - helping children improve literacy skills, teaching men to obtain and sustain employment, and improving the live-ability of homes.

Because you love St. Louis.

Because you love riding your bike.

Because you'll get some super sweet swag. Registered riders will receive a water bottle, wristband, and ample snacks and drinks along the way.

MORE INFO: Maps and ride guides will accompany you! We'll have a rest stop with food and drink at the Chain of Rocks Bridge, and sag and mechanical support by Big Shark Bicycles.

Need a bike tune up? Been a while since you've ridden your bike? Would you feel more comfortable if a bicycle mechanic checked it over? Email to make an appointment to get your bike looked at. Register for Ride for the City, and its free!
