Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for developing the technical and engineering objectives needed to ensure all manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes are prepared to drive safety, quality, and productivity standards that meet and exceed company targets. Apply knowledge to support maintenance and process improvements in a variety of manufacturing machines, support equipment, buildings, and grounds. To lead a culture of continuous improvement throughout the plant.
Major Responsibilities
:Direct the manufacturing support teams (mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, electricians, and machine shop) to achieve targeted uptime, performance efficiencies, and costs.
:Manage the preventative maintenance plan to minimize downtime and costs.
:Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives for yield improvement, energy conservation, standardized work, safety and various C/I projects as needed.
:Provide design and analysis of existing machinery both in terms of real:time equipment repair and for
productivity/safety continuous improvement
:Prepare preliminary and detailed CAD drawings and direct the work of designers, drafters, and technicians as required.
:Develop cost estimates based on specs.
:Develop and monitor control systems.
:Manage your team for 24/7 support.
:Reinforce cleanliness and an organized work space.

:Apply professional judgment with strong analytical, critical thinking, problem:solving, and compliance with Company policies and business objectives in mind.
Financial Responsibility
:All plans are designed with financial objectives.
Education/Experience and
:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Metallurgical Engineering with 5 : 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
:Knowledge of 2D and 3D AutoCAD software and the ability to learn machine operations. MS Office.
:Analyze and implement good sound manufacturing processes. Requires well developed time management, interpersonal, organizational, communication and leadership skills.
:Demonstrate leadership potential through direct supervisory or team leadership experience
