(Varsity/JV). Available: Immediately.
The Fox Warrior Lacrosse Club is seeking a V/JV defensive coach for the 2018 season. This position will collaborate with the head coach on aspects of defense, such as skill development and game strategy. The club possesses a state championship history, a history of all-conference/all-state players, college scholarship recipients, and the US Lacrosse National Bob Scott Award in 2017.

Potential coaching candidates should be enthusiastic about the sport, growing the game, and awareness of the impact a coach has on high school level players. Candidates should have the following traits:
• Positive attitude with high energy
• Excellent communication/leadership skills
• A coaching style that develops lacrosse skills, confidence, and leadership
• High school level coaching experience
• Vision to develop the team beyond a single season
• College lacrosse experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Heart for the game that is contagious for the players and community

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Coaching focus on defensive play, skill development and game strategies at all practices/games/conditioning
• Collaboration with head coach on aspects of defensive play
• Video breakdown and strategy sessions for team, as needed
• Some scouting, recruiting and meetings with board
• Clear and consistent communication with players and board liaison

Salary: Stipend based on recruitment; negotiable. Appointment: Part-Time
