Sr. Account Manager
Position Description

Title: Sr. Account Manager FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Purpose: The Senior Account Manager (SAM) maintains and grows relationships with existing clients, while achieving an assigned revenue and profitability goal to proactively manage an account assignment. Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the SAM is expected to retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned client accounts. SAM is engaged daily with client on print based activities, both digital and traditional. The SAM is responsible for achieving an assigned revenue and profitability goal to proactively manage an account assignment. S/he will leverage their relationship management skills to ensure excellent service delivery leading to client satisfaction and retention. In addition, the SAM will manage their assigned team of Account Managers and their corresponding revenue and profit growth goals.

Job duties and accountabilities:
Retains and grows companys revenue and profitability through proactive management of assigned client account relationships.
Presents new and additional products and services to existing accounts.
Finds additional opportunities in other departments within existing accounts.
Leads all aspects of the client process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by management.
Develops client account plans for all assigned clients by leading a joint company/client planning process that identifies relevant client needs, prioritizes initiative and company investments and establishes a clear action plan for success.
Proactively manages clients satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service problems, and monitoring satisfaction.
Achieves assigned revenue and profitability quota.
Establishes client account plans that meet company standards in all assigned accounts.
Supervises a team of Account Managers and Program Managers.
Develops key account plans for assigned accounts; implements account strategy.
Establishes and builds strong working relationships with business leaders and team members to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients.
Investigates, tracks and resolves client concerns; identifies trends and implements solutions
Leads the Account Managers, Program Managers to establish strong client relationships and assist in growing the business within existing accounts.
Keeps strong communication lines open to the Director of Client Services.
Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Determines unmet needs of the client and translates internally for adequate follow up.
Establishes and strengthens client relationships with decision makers across functions and regions.
Manages the overall client satisfaction and account profitability.
Retains and grows their account assignment including meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of your clients business and appropriately positions value propositions with viable solutions to meet the clients needs.
Provides mentoring to Account Managers and Program Managers
All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
3:5 years of experience with traditional and digital print.
Experience with marketing campaign execution.
Record of achievement in the Account Manager position.
Familiarity working within fast:paced, growth:oriented business environment.
Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance client relationships.
