Basic Function 13;
Responsible for the design, development and deployment of high impact and comprehensive procedures, job aids, training and development strategies for the Companys 5,000+ team members. With a strong background in strategic learning, leadership and project management skills, this hands:on role will lead a team to help achieve the Companys strategic goals and initiatives.
Job Duties 13;
:Lead a team to create and deliver learning and development programs, procedures and job aids.
:Conduct needs analysis studies and work collaboratively with other leaders across various functions to research, evaluate, create and implement innovative learning programs.
:Develop and implement a plan for providing e:Learning to our team members by converting paper:based training materials into accessible, bite:sized learnings that can be accessed remotely.
:Lead Kelso University, a centralized training program for new managers.
:Facilitate courses and programs that are impactful, relevant and use a variety of learning techniques.
:Plan all aspects of Companys annual management meetings.
:Responsible for the training programs for new hotel openings.
:Responsible for internal communication.
:Manage multiple, complex projects and adhere to deadlines.
:Research and select outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics.
:Maintain records and prepare reports to evaluate effectiveness of training and development programs.
:Other duties as assigned, including assisting Vice President with Strategic Planning as needed. 13;
General Knowledge, Skill and Ability 13;
Education and Experience
:Four:year college or university degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business, Education or a related field of study.
:Five or more years of training / learning / instructional design experience, preferably across multiple units and via multiple platforms (i.e., in person, virtual).
General Knowledge and Skills
:Read, analyze and interpret general business information.
:Read, write and speak English clearly.
:Excellent written communication skills.
:Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
:Excellent project management skills.
Must be able to travel up to 40 of the time.
