Position Classifications: Full-Time, Exempt

Salary: $32,000.00/year+

REPORTS TO: ISLA Quality Assurance Specialist and/or ISLA Program Specialist

Provides/oversees that continual training is present in the assessment, development, implementation, and/or management of assisting participants to attain their own personal outcomes. Personal outcomes for participants may be achieved through opportunities outlined within each participant’s Individualized Support Plan. Trains, supervises and evaluates program staff (ISLA Program Instructors) to ensure evidence of participant’s growth towards a higher level of independence.

Ensures all ISLA program instructors provide participant care and support in accordance with all legal regulations, policies, procedures, and training.
Trains, supervises, and documents the supervision of any assigned ISLA program instructors at all assigned work sites.
Ensures all ISLA program instructors are meeting participant’s needs based on outcomes/milestones within Individualized Support Plan.
Monitor ISLA program instructors in completion of progress notes and all relevant documentation for ISLA services.
Utilize progressive discipline and appraisal processes with ISLA program instructors, as indicated by employee handbook and/or Sunnyhill policies and procedures.
Maintains consistent and positive communication with ISLA program instructors.
Program Quality

Ensures all PLB/DDR/DMH guidelines are met, or exceeded, with all participants in ISLA Program.
Ensures that progress notes are provided to the main office on a monthly basis to meet funding source guidelines and bi-monthly payroll requirements.
Ensures all Individualized Support Plan meetings are scheduled and attended as outlined by funding source.
Development and submission of all Individualized Support Plan as identified by ISLA administrators.
Document activities and records level of progress for outcomes as outlined in each participant’s Person Center Plan on a monthly basis.
Create, maintain and ensure that all required ISLA program documentation is current and complete for all participants. This includes but is not limited to paper and electronic versions to meet ISLA funding source guidelines.
Adhere to all ISLA department guidelines and paperwork deadlines as outlined by ISLA administration.
All ISLA documentation must consist of proper grammar, correct spelling and age appropriate language.
Ensure that participants’ safety is maintained through quarterly emergency drills, participant and employee safety supply inventories and other strategies.
Maintains consistent and positive communication with guardians and other service providers.

Provides face-to-face time each week with each participant based on caseload outlined by ISLA administrators.
A work week is defined as 40 hours a week (not a pay period). A 40 hour work week consists of the required billable time (face-to-face) and administration time. This position may require working more than 40 hours each week.
Monitors ISLA program instructors’ billable and non-billable time. Communicate with ISLA program instructors that may be approaching over 40 hours.
Attends all scheduled ISLA meetings identified by ISLA administration.
Established monthly team meetings with ISLA program instructors.
Assures required training is completed in timely manner.
Provides PTO coverage as outlined by administration.

Responds, within 30 minutes, to all communication from participants, ISLA program instructors, and ISLA administrators.
Ensures that provided Sunnyhill email account is periodically checked throughout the business day.
Represents Sunnyhill in a professional manner at all times.
Acts as liaison for all participants’ residential habilitation issues with outside agencies as needed.
Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned by ISLA administrators.

Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field and two years directly related experience. QMRP qualified according to Missouri Department of Mental Health standards.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Other requirements: Use of a personal motor vehicle, valid driver’s license, adequate auto insurance as defined by state law. Acceptable police, DFS, and DMV record checks.

This position could work in any of the following environments:

Office/community days, evenings and weekends
Participants’ residence
Medical Office buildings

Protective Equipment Required: As required by task and procedure.
Environmental Exposures: Primarily office environment. Maybe be required to walk outdoors in all seasons. Bloodborne pathogen Class A working environment
Manual dexterity skills, including repetitive use of hands, fingering, and grasping.
Able to stand, walk, and sit four (4) hours at a time.
Repetitive bending and reaching up to two (2) hours a day.
Average vision/hearing.
Able to lift 25 pounds from floor to waist.
