Construction Project Manager Responsibilities
Job Overview:
We are a St. Louis, Missouri based construction firm looking for a Lead Construction Manager to run jobs from start to finish. This includes setting
estimates/budget(s), coordinate contractors and suppliers and responsibilities and scope of works, as well as plan and schedule construction projects and to oversee all aspects of implementation of project. We have been in business for over 20 years and have built a good team of individuals who work well together. We are looking for organized and detail oriented individuals, who can bring leadership and discipline to our construction projects. You should be prepared to manage performance of all required participants in the project, including client relations and communications as well as billing through office accounting personnel.

Core Responsibilities:
:Review, understand and even help development where needed, construction documents and understands scope of work to bid.
:Oversee and direct construction projects from conception, through construction drawings all the way to completion
:Prepare and keep schedule with contractors and suppliers as well as manage costs
:Coordinate all permitting and inspections to assure compliance with building and safety regulations.
:Review and approve payments to suppliers and contractors and track inventory
:Meet contractual obligations with clients and job deadlines.
:Review and update office and client on the work progress on daily basis, update schedules and anticipated goal and benchmark deadlines.
:Identify and resolve potential and existing issues as they arise.
:Negotiate terms of agreements with sub:contractors and suppliers.
:Assure quality construction standards are met and the use of proper construction techniques.
:Assure a safe and presentable job site is maintained.

Main Requirements:
:Proven work experience in construction project management
:Advanced knowledge of project management and a wholistic approach to the processes, means and methods
:Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
:Experienced with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project. Knowledge of and experience with construction management software packages
:Excellent communication skills and management of all relevant parties for updating schedules, budgets, etc., related to project progress.
:Understanding of all facets of the construction process
:Ability to plan, organize and execute a project from start to finish competently with budget, quality and timing all balanced in consideration for actions taken to achieve end goals.
:Cool in crisis management and conflict resolution.
:Strong display of leadership as well as an ability to deal with employee management.
:Excellent time and project management skills
:BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field, or in:depth experience in construction
Job Type: Full:time
Starting Salary: 50,000.00 : 100,000+ with bonus and profit share (based on projects you run).

We dont cut or cap profit share them after certain benchmarks. We want to reward our best project managers by not limiting their earning potential.
