Accounts Receivable Collection Specialist

:Provide updates to customers regarding their account status.
:Address delinquent customer accounts via email, USPS mail, and telephone.
:Partner with third:party collection firms for resolution for follow:up resolutions
:Provide outstanding customer service regarding account and billing inquiries.
:Update and enter customer account information in Database Management System : AS/400.
:Enter information into customer account notes, in addition to other data entry.
:Balancing and Recording payments received from customers
:Process customer applications for credit payment terms; Conduct reference checks of customers and fax.
:Other duties and special projects, as assigned
:Sitting for extended periods of time, talking and phone use. Require use of regular office equipment: Phone, Computer, Copier, Calculator, Fax, and Scanner.

:0:2 years Accounts Receivable experience.
:Strong Analytical skills; outstanding attention to detail.
:Professional Attitude portrayed both in person and over the phone.
:Interest and Ability to learn from ones mistakes.
:Strong work ethic : dedicated to getting the job done.

Strong Preference For:
:Bachelors Degree
Major/Concentration in an area of Accounting
:Cumulative GPA : 3.15.
:Collections experience.
:AS400 data management system experience; CRM database experience.
:Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are always a plus : advanced/fluent levels.
